Poetry on the Yellow River: Renowned Chinese Poets Visit Jia County
On September 23rd, the “Chinese Famous Poet Yulin Walk” event opened its first stop and walked into Jiaxian County. Poets learned about Yellow River culture, visited millennia old town, watched folk performances, and searched for poetry in this lively county town.
On September 10th, we ushered in the 40th Teacher's Day in China. The Shaanxi Yellow River Culture Museum entered Jiaxian No. 2 Primary School to carry out a "Museum Into Campus" activity.
This event attracted teachers and students from the whole school to participate. Through the exhibition board, the distribution of guide books, knowledge question and answer forms, Zhang Nannan, a lecturer from the Shaanxi Yellow River Culture Museum, explained the contents of the exhibition board for all teachers and students.
Through this activity, the students felt history and culture at zero distance, enhanced awareness of artifacts conservation, and teachers and students expressed that they had a pleasant and meaningful teacher’s day.
