On September 20, 2025, the first Yellow Self-Driving Tour with the theme of “Zaoer Red on the banks of the Yellow River” officially kicked off. In the afternoon, self-driving teams along S201 along the Huang Sightseeing Road were neatly lined up, accompanied by loud sirens from the start to march toward cultural depths along the Yellow River.

In front of the monument, the car friends, led by professional commentators, relive the history of Dongdu. Through precious historical pictures and detailed written accounts, everyone felt as if they were in the scene to protect Dongdu from the military and citizens, deeply sensed the strong faith and struggle of the revolutionary predecessors on the banks of the Yellow River.

The team followed the winding tracks of the Yellow River and headed to Suide Zaolinping Shangheyuan Scenic Area Homestay. Behind the Huang River Gorge, facing thousands of acres of jujube forest, the architectural style blends the quaintness of Shaanxi Kiln Cave with modern comforts.

The ride-hailing trail, built by the Yellow River, is a soft yellow earth beneath its feet, surrounded by fruity date trees. In front of it, there are raindrops falling on the palm leaves and the crisp sound of the river surface, "Yellow Canyon scenery, Zao Forest ecology, farming culture" three core elements perfectly blended in.

The theme of “Yellow River Culture” as the soul, and “Self Drive Travel” as the carrier, will deeply integrate the three core plates of red theme, yellow river scenery, and the humanities of bed and breakfasts: Red sites link the revolutionary memory along the banks of the Yellow River, so that the Yellow River culture has a thick spiritual undertone.

On the one hand, through self-driving this popular way of travel, the historical and cultural resources hidden along the Yellow River (such as Mao Dongdu Red Site), natural landscape resources (such as Yellow River Gorge, Zao Lin Ecology) and folk humanistic resources (such as agricultural culture, characteristic B&Bs) are presented to the public. On the other hand, the activities are linked to Wubao and Suide along Huang County, promoting linkages in tourism route design, integration of cultural resources, service facilities and so on.
