On the morning of April 2, Shaanxi Yellow River Culture Museum carried out the theme activity "Our Festival • Qingming Culture Tour" and more than 200 teachers and students from Jiaxian Third Primary School participated in it.
● Activity 1: Tomb Sweeping of the Patriarchs ● At 7:30 a.m., all the teachers and students of Jiaxian Third Elementary School walked to Mr. Li Yeyuan Lao’s graveyard. After arriving at the cemetery, all the students stood up, gave their flag, saluted the team song, took oath before the tomb, bowed to Monument III. ●Activities 2、Wonderful Hand Painted Spring Experience In total, 70 students were invited to attend the event through learning cultural knowledge of Qingming Festival, hand-painted kites and flying experiences. 1 Qingming Festival customs and kite culture Students were invited to discuss the customs and culture of the Qingming Festival at the venue, with details about the origin and history of kites. 2 Students draw their own kites Students fully use their imagination, do-it-yourself with pigments, toning, color filling, a painting on the kite sketching exclusive patterns and colors. Soon, the original monotonous kite put on beautiful "flower clothes", deeply feel the cultural significance of traditional festivals. 3 Fly a kite Organize students to fly kites in the square, so that students enjoy the joy of success. A young face overflows with a bright smile, a unique kite, trusting students' nostalgia and good wishes for their ancestors, sages, first spirits, in the warm spring wind more high. Activity 3: Visit the Museum In the course of visiting the museum, students experienced up close and personal history of the Yellow River. They explored the important relationship between the Yellow River civilization and the Chinese nation. During this event, students were invited to enjoy the charm of China’s outstanding traditional culture in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. In order to learn more about the rich connotations of Qingming Traditional Festivals, we will feel the breath and gentleness of spring while deepening our understanding of traditional Qingming Festivals. Shaanxi Yellow River Culture Museum will continue to dig deep into the cultural connotations of traditional festivals, innovative forms, and teach fun.
