Recently, the Shaanxi Yellow River Culture Museum conducted a series of training activities around the 2026 museum evaluation work to enhance comprehensive strength through professional empowerment and build a foundation for the goal of creating 4A scenic spots.
1. Focus on the assessment series
Shaanxi Yellow River Culture Museum organizes targeted training in stages, covering all cadres and staff.
From July 2nd to 3rd, 16:00-18:00, the museum held a grading assessment training in the living room of the city council, and invited Liang Min, Deputy Director of Cooperation Development Department of Shaanxi History Museum to serve as guidance.
In the training, Mr. Leung Ming studied the key aspects of assessment and evaluation, emphasizing the importance of cultural relics collection, conservation, research and display, and making practical suggestions for improvement.
Through this training, staff not only deepen their understanding of the assessment criteria but also a more scientific and systematic approach to work.
Two-track parallel promotion of standards and capacity building
(1) Accurately optimize the development path of standard level museums
On July 31st, 10:00-12:00 and 15:00-17:00, a seminar was held in the City Hall. Professor Zhang Xia, Director of Faculty and Research Department of Yulin College Management School, gave an in-depth lecture on “Standards, Measures and Paths for the Creation of National Museums at Level 4A”.
Professor Zhang Xia, a PhD student at Xijiao University and vice president of Shaanxi Human Resources Association, has many qualifications such as state-level human resources manager, senior intelligent tourism manager, and rich theoretical research and practical guidance experience.
The lecture will build a closed-loop lifting framework for the museum, helping it pinpoint weaknesses and clear the direction of upgrading.
(B) Focus on personal ability to improve team development
On July 31, Wang Bin, general secretary of the party branch of Yulin College of Art, brought "Museum Staff Career Planning" to share the topic, instilling motivation for employees' personal abilities and career development.
As a Ph.D. student at Peking University School of Education, Global Career Planner (GCDF) and Global Career Coach (BCC), Wang has guided staff from the characteristics of the museum industry: combining professional literacy requirements to clarify their knowledge and skills in such areas as collection management, interpretation services, research ability, etc.
From the nuances of Mr. Leung’s decoding assessment system, to the vision of Prof. Zhang Xia’s upgrading framework, to the follow-up of Secretary Wang Bin’s brightening career path, the series is geared into a complete chain of “standard landing — team growth — goal achievement.”
