On December 31, Shaanxi Yellow River Culture Museum invited Dr. Chang Jingyu, an associate professor at Yulin College, to deliver a lecture on the theme of “The Yellow River Dawn – The Night Before Civilization” by Dr. Chang Jingyu.

In the lecture, Vice-Professor Chang Jingyu first started from the geographical environment to uncover the secrets of Shaanxi as a prehistoric livable place. In the field of archaeological discovery, Professor Chang shared the idea that the density of prehistoric sites in Shaanxi is staggering - more than 400 prehistoric sites have been found in Jialu River Basin, and 573 prehistoric sites have been discovered in Yulin Area. The number is several times equivalent to the rest of the country combined.

In the past, Professor Chang explained a number of "China's most" of prehistoric civilizations in Shaanxi: 4,400 years ago, China's earliest cattle and sheep remains, confirming the status of Shaanxi as the key node of the prehistoric "Silk Road" in Shaanxi Province.
