The total construction area of the Shaanxi Yellow River Culture Museum is 1.67 thousand square meters and exhibits more than 10,000 pieces of Chen artifacts and physical objects, with a total of four floors, one or two floors being the exhibition hall of the Shaanxi Yellow River Culture Museum, three floors being the temporary exhibition hall, and four floors being the Yellow River Cultural Research Center and office area.
Shaanxi Yellow River Culture Museum consists of five sub-showrooms. Among them, the prologue hall "The Water of the Yellow River Comes from Heaven", through 5464 mechanical modules to show the full view of the Yellow River Basin. The third exhibition hall, “Ninety-nine Roads of the World Yellow River”, includes four parts: “People’s Winds of the Great River”, “Festival of Food” and “Dance and Music”, mainly exhibits the value concept of historical condensation, handicraft, lifestyle customs, commercial trade, food specialities, and cultural arts.
