On July 10-12, the China Museum Association's "Silk Road" and the 2025 Annual Meeting of Museum Professional Committee and Academic Seminar on "Silk Road Civilization from a Museum Perspective" was held in Hangzhou.

On July 10th, the Preparatory Committee of Museums along the "Silk Road" of China Museum Association was held at the Chinese Silk Museum. It was chaired by Deputy Commissioner and Secretary-General Lou Jianlong, who detailed the addition of each member unit and the introduction of additional members.

On July 11th, Liu Jianlong, Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the Special Committee, chaired the annual meeting, and introduced the leaders and guests of the participants.

At the symposium “Silk Road Civilizations from the Perspective of Museums”, Director Xue Xiaohua made a keynote speech entitled “Watching the Long River of Civilizations and Drawing New Figures of Silk Road – The Exploration and Prospect of the Yellow River Cultural Museum in Shaanxi’s Yellow River Civilizations”. The spiritual core of Yellow River culture is already connected to the spirit of Silk Road:

The 2026 China Museum Association Silk Road Special Committee Annual Meeting will be held in Jiaxian County, Shaanxi (where the Yellow River Cultural Museum is located) and Haikou, Hainan.

In the future, the museum will take advantage of mutual recognition as its wings and take advantage of the opportunity to work with partners to dig deeper into the value of the Yellow River and Silk Road culture, so that ancient civilizations can bloom brighter in the new era.
