Wu Pengfei, Professor and Ph.D. Director of the Institute of Historical Geography and Social Change, Deputy Editor and Editorial Director of the Yellow River Civilization and Sustainable Development; Member of the Watershed Spatial Planning Branch of the Chinese Urban Planning Society; Member of the Chinese Ancient Capital Society; Vice President of the Kaifeng Local History Society; Visiting Scholar, Department of History, Peking University. He has published more than 40 academic papers and published research on the relationship between Yellow River and Kaifeng City, Environmental History of the Yellow River Water Infestation in Kaifeng City.
