On October 26, 2025, the third edition of the Yellow River Cultural Dialogue was held in the Red and Yellow River Cultural Scenic Area of Eastern Shaanxi. The guests invited Wang Jianling, a national heritage of "Shaanbean folk proverbs", and Li Jinli, vice director of the Yellow River Culture Museum, to discuss the historical flow, performance form and cultural soul of Shaanxi.

In the early days of civilization chaos, people placed their awe in the worship of the sun in the face of earthquakes and tsunamis. The word "Yang Song" from deep understanding should be "yang Song", is the square song and dance of the sun sacrifice, combining collective sacrifice with public entertainment, and finally moving towards the joyous realm of unity among the heavenly people.

"Caimen Yan Song" is a religious ritual in which people travel to the temple at the beginning of the month to express their demands; "Caimen Yan Song" is a spiritual ritual in which people go to the temple to express their wishes; "Caimen Yan Song" is a door-to-door delivery of blessings, during which "Umbrella Head" touches life improvise lyrics, defuses embarrassment and dilemmas in life, brings joy and hope. "Brothers and Sisters Opening" during Yan'an period is a classic work of Yan'an opera. It is based on the life prototype of Mi Fat Aunt Ma Apricot, created by playwright Ma Jianling, reflecting the large production movement in the border area, promoting the popularization of literary art and folklore, also marking the path of Chinese music and dance to serve workers and farmers."

In the Yellow River Cultural Museum of Shaanxi, the elements of shaanbei yingo also have a variety of features. Li Jinli said that in the third exhibition area of the museum, through "The Love of the Yellow River", the Yellow River cultural volume, vividly shows the lively scene of shaanbei da yingo team with sheep tummy hand towel and female team members holding fans dancing ryokan song.

Although the same belongs to Shaanxi North Yung Song, there are many different forms of performance. Wang Jianling pointed out that Jiaxian Yung Song has unique content such as blessings, harvests and amnesty, "which reflects the release of human nature and care for the wild ghosts."

“Yang Song of Shaanxi is closely connected to the old culture, and is an important part of the old culture.” Wang Jianling said that every New Year, from the beginning of the first month to the Lantern Festival, even to February 2 or 23rd, all parts of Shaanxi North are immersed in the joy atmosphere of Yang Song. Among them, Jiuqu Yang Song is the main theme of the whole Yang Song event, which revolves around the story of Yellow River boatmen and boaters.

In order to attract visitors to participate widely, first of all, provide suitable venues, such as Oriental Red Square in the museum; secondly provide music, gong drums and other performance conditions. Finally, create opportunities for participation.

Yellow River Cultural Dialogue is a key project in the 2025 Shaanxi Yellow River Cultural Tourism Month. It was jointly launched by the Shaanxi Yellow River Culture Museum and the editorial department of China's Yellow River Tourism Yearbook.

The third issue of “Yangge of Yellow Land and Shaanxi Ningge” is a cultural dialogue that gives the audience more insight into Shaanxi Ningge, and provides new ideas for the heritage and development of Shaanxi Ningge.

As a series of actions by the Shaanxi Yellow River Culture Museum to spread the Yellow River culture to the public, the fourth issue will also launch the theme dialogue "Yellow River Echoes in Shaanxi Folk Songs", inviting "Shaanbei Song King" Wang Xiangrong to walk into the screen and decrypt the Shaanxi folk songs of a lifetime and touching stories behind the scenes in Taiqian.
