On December 21, 2025, the Shaanxi Yellow River Culture Museum was warm and harmonious. The 25th class dance class students of Yulin Academy of Arts and the staff of the Yellow River Cultural Museum joined hands with the staff of the Shaanxi Yellow River Culture Museum. With the theme of "Dance to the Yellow River Warm Winter at this time", the winter solstice feast interwoven with cultural heritage and warmth.

From the dance pattern on ancient pottery to the song and dance props in folklore exhibits, students observe and record. In touch with historical veins, they explore the deep connection between Yellow River culture and dance art, accumulated rich material for subsequent creative creations.

Xue Xiaohua, director of the Yellow River Cultural Museum, explained the value and heritage of Yellow River culture at the end of the millennium.

Li Kaixin, Xia Zilu and Li Qinyang collaborated with the dance “Light” as soft as the shimmering glow of the Yellow River; 515 Dorms’ “National Wind” dance was vibrant, showing the beauty of multi-ethnic cultures. The original taste of Tibetan dance brought by Dan Zengwangm, Ziren Benjoo and other classmates. Zhou Yiying’s “Latin” dance was enthusiastic, showing the unique charm of diverse dance styles. “Winter Solstice on the banks of the Yellow River” recited by an interpreter at the Shaanxi Yellow River Culture Museum.

Mr. Wang Bin, Secretary of the Faculty of Arts of Yulin College, said that the event not only deepened the deep friendship between Shaanxi Yellow River Culture Museum and the Academy, but also achieved mutual benefits - both helping the museum interpreters improve dance skills and building valuable practical learning platform for classmates.

During the winter solstice festival, students and museum staff participated in two fun competitions: "Creative Dumpling Competition", everyone played their whimsy and pinched various dumplings, creative ideas; "Fastest Dumpling Competition", groups of workers collaborated, hand-flipped, laughing, a full-bodied dumpling quickly formed.

In the afternoon, “Dance Music and Drawing Warm Winter” series of activities, teachers and students from Yulin College of Art and lecturers from Shaanxi Yellow River Culture Museum.

With the winter solstice as an opportunity, dance as a bond, young students and museum workers will feel heritage in cultural exploration, enhance friendship in hands-on practice, show style in creative creation.
